Welcome back to Made by Mcleod! My last post I did a home tour with you, and we started in the entry of course, and I think why not start here with my first home improvement project for the year! You'll remember that when my husband and I bought our home, the previous owners put up board and baton wall and a few hooks. It was cute and going in the right direction but lacked personality.

My love language is acts of service and gifting! So, for my family this Valentines Day I made cookies for all of us. This is my go-to recipe for chocolate chip cookies! Enjoy!

This candle is so sweet, I love romantic floral scents for this time of year. as we get closer to Valentine's Day, I like to bring a little more femineity to my decor. I like to accent with pinks and creams. The doily is so nice, my mom gave it to me this last month. I thought it would be prefect to have this candle sit on top of. the doily adds the prefect dainty touch.
